how do you report a post? Just forward the original post to the appropriate
channels?

 

Most "channels" want the original post with all the headers intact. Exactly
how you extract this information depends on your news reader. It is also
helpful to do some detective work on your own. For example,
"NNTP-Posting-Host: 172.128.158.129" points to an AOL address. You can find
this sort of information at http://swhois.net/ You can try reporting this
to but they are usually fairly tolerant and knowledgeable of
the sorts of things that go on in newsgroups. With the racial slurs and
comments about "rape culture of America" they might be interested in this
fellow though. They should be able to figure out which of their accounts is
responsible from the IP address and time stamp on the post.

Be sure and include a copy of the header. You can see the header in OE by
right clicking the message title and selecting "Properties". Most headers
have a "X-Complaints-To:" line. That's a start. Also look at the path and
the NNTP posting host (you would have to do a whois search on that one, it's
an IP address.) Most ISPs have an "abuse" email (for example
). Most of these organizations (including the so-called
anonymous emailers) take "netiquette" quite seriously.
Bear in mind that I am by no means an expert. (There are others here who
can tell you if your dog is pregnant based on what they see in your header.)

racist about saying "rape culture of America?" Have you ever went to
the meeting among rape victims? I was there among the 50 or 60 all of
them women. Some women were victim of gang rape. A speaker a former
raped victim saying this "This culture is a rape culture." The fact is
clear, one out of 9 women were victm of rape or attempted rape. That
is the quite high number compared to any socieyt in the world. YOu
know Kobe stuff. I do believe 90% Kobe Bryant raped the girl. I do

I was one of few men there in the meeting. I saw the pain and
suffering of

Google Groups accounts are free and easy to get. All you need is a valid
email address to receive their confirmation letter one time. You might get
somewhere if enough people report him to his isp (aol). He's probably on
the free introductory thirty day plan though. Still, they might flag his
credit card number as being from a pita.
