Unlocking door with key

    I have a 2000 LHS. The battery in the fob died years ago. I don't really care, I've just been using the key. Last fall I had to start turning the key CC twice in order for the doors to unlock. I thought this might just be a 'setting' but the owner's manual says nothing about manually unlocking the doors. Anyone ever run into this?
