The inside of my '03 headlites continue to collect moisture from
I think condensation. Someone suggested removing the 'O' ring on
the bulb assembly to allow air inside. Tried that, didn't work.
Is this something the dealer can fix/replace ? Have seen lots of
the same vehicle around and they don't seem to have the problem,
but I have heard it is fairly common ?
    Thx !

Put the o-rings back on and take it to the dealer. Document the problem with
the dealer. Chrysler has to provide you with a solution. My 04 does not
experience this issue and I live where it gets cold and humid.

  3. How heavy is this moisture collection? If it's just a light film of
fine-droplet mist, and "burns off" within a minute or so of turning on the
headlamps, then it's considered normal and nothing needs to be (or can be)
done about it. If it's more than that, it's not normal and the dealer
    should replace the headlamps.

Be thankful you don't own a chevy, thats usally their first sign that the
    headlight lens will fall off.

Gave up trying to fix it and took it to the dealer. Not even a
question....they just replaced it, the whole process took about
45minutes. The parts guy said they have a huge stock of these
lights, they are replacing them all the time !
Hopefully the new one will work better. <g>
