The Sylvania 9007XV does not seem to be available online. (Only a few
    references to Wagner 9007BL.)

Any one have a link, or a sighting in a local brick & mortar chain
    location?

    Thx.

  2. So...go out and get some locally. Any Sylvania stockist should carry them.
I've spotted them at Pep Boys, Checker, Schuck's, Kragen, Autoworks, Sears
    AutoCare Centers, Canadian Tire...

Don't let the schlub behind the counter push Sylvania SilverStars or
Wagner TruViews on you. Insist on the Xtravisions. They won't make your
rotten headlamps into good ones, but they are the best you can get.

There's a $6 rebate on any pair of Silverstars, CoolBlues, or
XtraVisions. Found that out last week when I took Daniel's advice and
went to buy a pair of XtraVisions (for my Concorde). He's right - the
counter guy tried to talk me into the SilverStars - said they were so
much "whiter" and that's why they are so much better (deja vu all over
again). But he also handed me the rebate coupon (which I won't use
because I don't need any more spam or junk snail mail (you have to
provide e-mail address and of course post office address on the coupon).

    Rebate's good until 3/31/04 if anyone's interested though. I don't know
if these are only good at Advance AP - their logo is all over the coupon
and built into the address (but maybe that's just for tracking purposes
and other retailers have similar coupons with the same P.O. box in
    Phoenix?).

Good suggestion, unfortunately, the local shops are mere "retailers",
not "stockists". As a result, they stock "kewl" Silverstars and
    HID-alikes, not pedestrian Xtravisions.

Always looking for better lighting. Have a 2003 T&C. Are any of the mentioned
Sylvania's any better than what is 'factory' lighting ?
HID would be nice, but at that price.....dont think so !
    Thx

Although my 2004's mini-van's lights are vastly superior to the ones on my
96, it is still not up to the quality Chrysler fit on my PT Cruiser. I
switched to Sylvania Xtravision bulbs, but that was only a slight
improvement. I purchased a set of relays from Dan but I have not had the
chance to install them so I can't tell you if they will improve the
    situation.

Just as well. HID "retrofits" are illegal and dangerous. Definitely not
    very "nice".

    ...
I just bought a set at Canadian Tire - will let you know my $0.02
    shortly
Unless they are the ones from Vmaxx.
