hey guys ,left signal is flashing at a high rate , because the front
bulb is not working ,but rear is . i changed the bulb and it was not
blown , after some time it goes back to normal rate of flash. a month
later same thing happens again, bulb is still fine. i am looking at a
wireing schematic of that signal light but am wondering can a flasher
be only partially gone and only letting it work sometimes, was
thinking i am getting a short somewhere along the line, but that's
gonna be some chore checking that whole line wouldn't it. anyone have
any idea what would be doing this other than a short . thanks muchly

  2. You've got a socket or wiring problem, not a flasher problem.

there is a chance the bulb is not the correct one having the wrong
resistance can mess with the system as can a trailer wiring harness that
    is corroding
