A 1990 Chrysler Dynasty has an electrical problem that keeps
discharging the battery when the car sits for several days. Checking
indicates that with everything turned off about one half amp is beith
drawn from the battery. After removing the rear window defroster fuse
from the fuse box on the left inner fender, the draw is only a few
milliamps which I assume is power for the computer, and the battery
does not go dead. Removing the rear window defroster fuse also disables
the radio, clock and interior lights. Another mechanic told me this
happened to another Dynasty and the only way he could prvent battery
discharge was to remove the same fuse. Does anyone know what causes the
problem and how to fix it?
