hi all i have a 1997 preg chrysler voyager ive just had the car looked
at and it seems the gear box oil is getting mixed up with the water
from the radiator because the radiator is busted is there a cheap
radiator for this vehicle and are the cooling fans seperate to the
rad, and the gearbox is not working because of the water in the system
is there a chance that the gearbox will be ok after a new radiator is
fitted or is the damage already done hope someone can help thanks

The cooling fans do separate from the radiator. If you want pricing
on a new one I would suggest that you check them with the big parts
stores and rockauto.com. There are also a few web sites out there for
companies that specialize in replacement radiators. Google is your
    friend.

It's always worth a try to flush the transmission after you replace
the radiator to see if it will work again. I would give you about 80%
odds that the transmission is toast and will have to be rebuilt.

If you are going cheap to see if the trans survives. I would go buy an aux
transmission cooler kit and just route the trans fluid through it and bypass
the radiator completely. This will give you a chance to drive the vehicle
for some period of time before deciding on investing more money into your
vehicle. And if you were concerned about adequete cooling all new chrysler
products with the same powertrain have gone to air to oil coolers only.
