    Err, HELP, Please.
I have a 2001 PT Cruiser and have the following problems with it.

    1. Miss-firing at certain revs
    2. Interior sensor will not activate the interior lights

The local Chrysler garage spent a day and could not find where the
fault was (but charged me UK£300 for their time).
In turn I took it to a specialist Auto Electrician who thought that the
fault might be in the Timer Relay, but as it was the first PT Cruiser
that he had worked on he could not locate the Timer relay to test.

    PLEASE, Please any ideas?
    Thanks Clive

    Hiya Clive,

Had an '01 Cruiser and the dealer changed the plugs and leads.
Had an '03 Cruiser and the dealer once again changed the plugs and leads (he
actually said the chrysler plugs were crap and they put jap ones in)
Then a few months later they did the coil pack and throttle position sensor.

The cars never showed fault codes and always seemed to work fine when the
dealer took it, just for the misfire to return when it felt like it.

Put in Champion dual plat plugs and be done with it.
