In my 2000 Town & Country the passenger side carpet gets wet when it
rains, this happens when the van in parked or in motion.
I have removed the plastic covering and put sealer in the holes but
this did not help and the seal on the mirror appears to be tight.
Anyone know where I can check to find out where the water is coming
    from?

    Thanks.

I guess I should have written this a little clearer, thats what I get
for trying to type at 1:30 am.
The water is coming in on the front passenger side of the van where the
inside door meets the inside body. There is a vertical piece of molding
attached there, I removed the piece of molding and used the hose method
you mentioned. I seen water coming through so I injected some silcone
in the hole and put the molding back, I think I just wasted the
silcone. I bought the van in late 2003 and leaking started mid 2005. To
my knowledge windsheld has not been replaced. The dealer tried to tell
me that the drain for the a/c was plugged and the water was from the
condensation form the a/c coil. Considering it is wet only after a rain
I think I can rule out the condensation.

    Thanks

  4. Check the door seams for misalignment. There's a good chance the door is
    sagging on the
hinges. If you cannot shim or adjust the door back to where it's supposed
    to
be, you will have to replace the door weatherstripping because the old
weatherstripping has hardened into the form it should be when the door is
    correctly mounted.

new seal maybe, as long as the door is on correctly, so take some soapy water(
foaming window cleaner works best ) in a squirt bottle and spray the seal
around the whole door and then close the door, open door and look at the
seal were there is no contact the seal is collasped and needs replacing
    hope this helps
get your parts soon the price of d.c parts is going up 10-15% in 3 weeks or
so and mom and pop dealers will be getting closed or pushed out by d.c as the
    alpha plan starts

Can you elaborate on the 10-15% parts price increase coming up? What is
your source for that. I have a several-hundred-dollar parts purchase
coming up and may have to move it up on the calendar.

Use the boat owners trick for finding water leaks.
Take talcum powder and putit on all areas you think the water is
coming from. Wait for rain or use a hose. Where the talcum powder is
discolored is where it is wet. So simple and yet so reliable.
