    Dear Steve Turner:

If you note the OPs stated cigarette consumption frequency of his
department head's habit, it won't have to be cancer that kills him. There
are a number of diseases that thrive on damaged lung tissue.

Some people worry about the stupidest things........
Just take up smoking yourself and quit worring about it. Once you
smoke you wont ever smell it again.

  4. Get real. My boss might get an exemption to the "smoke in my car and you
lose a testicle" policy, but if he were callous enough to start lighting
up in my car, he'd be ordered to stop immediately. If he refused, I'd pull
over and order him out of the car on the spot, regardless of location.
There is no such thing as "smokers' rights".

Ya might want to go back and read that, bub. Did anyone claim that
    smoking was harmless?

No argument there, and there are plenty of other smoking-related
    illness aside from cancer.

WRT the orignal question... My advice would be to simply leave the
windows in the car down as often as possible (e.g., when parked at
night). It will air out naturally fairly quickly. Do not neglect the
ashtray -- if the smoker used it, clean it out with soap and water.
The butts and tarry residues can create a stink for weeks.

  8. You're wrong. It wasn't Lloyd, it was Lioyd, the Lloyd impersonator
who does Lloyd better than Lloyd.

  9. The smoking thread wasn't posted by Parker. It was posted by the

And a surprisingly high number of men with prostate cancer have a history
of masturbation. Would you prefer secondhand spooge instead?

There is no such thing as smoker's rights in/on your property.... other
places.... bars, restaurents, etc should be allowed to make their own
economic decisions about whether to allow smoking. If they get more
business allowing smoking so be it. If they don't then they can ban it.
The gov needs to keep out. Its their choice based on what they judge
    their customers want.

Maybe that's what he *meant* to say - that he *invited* the internet.

Actually that's what Dick Armey said Gore said.

What Gore said was that he took the initiative in Congress
in creating the Internet, and he did.

Not sure what this thread was about but to get rid of cig smoke use orange
oil. spray it on and it will dissolve the tar and eithr wipe it off or
leave it. If you leave it it will soak into fabric and carry tar deep
    inside.
