I'm tying to fix my Jeep Grand Cherokee TD 2.5 (1998 model): I've
found an electical dispersion: aboun 0.5A wich becomes 0A if I remove
the fuse #7 ... general panel, and afew more amenities I cannot
easili traqslate in english and .. the amplifier!! bedly the amplifier
itself seems not to be working at all (at max volume I can barely ear
a flebile music and a few snaps).

Can anyone tell me where the amplifier is?

    Thank you.

hmm, most amps are built into the stereo's deck, others have the amps on
each speaker, without more info I can't help you....

Well talking about Jeep Cherokee everything is a little bit strange
    :)
There's a differnt fuse for each the radio and the amplifier so I
guess these are two different boxes. Unfortunately I have already
removed the radio and the dispersion problem is still there.
The speakers have nothing 'strange' ... simple speakers.

    Any suggestion?

umm by dispersion are you referring to noise, like a whirring noise when the
    truck is run?

if so it's a grounding problem.

The amp is located under the rear passenger side seat. At least it is in a
    2000 GC.
