I found this out by mistake today. I washed my engine then started it right
away to help dry things up while I washed the rest of my truck. I noticed
while washing around the door openings, window openings and door handles
that I was getting large amounts af bubbles building like a kid blowing
bubbles. What was happening was I had the interior blower fan on HIGH and
the inside of the truck was pressurized with the air leaking out around
the doors, windows and door handles causing the soap to bubble there. It
was like checking a tire for leaks with soapy water.

You had the system set on recirc and the cabin was being pressurized, the
next time you wash it, take it off recirc and see what happens

I had it set on floor so it's getting fresh air from the outside. It wasn't
    on Recirculate.

Dave there should be a vent on the body somewhere that allows the pressure
to escape when the inside is under pressure. I dont have truck books here
and you dont say what yr or make it is so I cant help you. Call your local
body shop and see if they can tell you where it is at

I wasn't complaining about the leaks because I'm not getting any water
inside. It might explain the wind noise though. I do see the vents your
talking about but aren't they designed such that only a heavy rush of air
such as a door closing will open them to release the pressure?
