I have run into some trouble with my 1998 v10 Dodge Viper and i need to
get to the battery. I've searched the entire car high and low and
called 2 dealerships and neither of them knew where it was located
either. If anyone has an idea of where it could be located it would be
    appreciated.

The battery is located behind the left rear wheel well splash shield. Remove
    left rear tire and wheel.

Why, did you steal it? How do you know you have a battery problem when you
can't locate it! Red flag to me!

If you can afford to buy a Viper, you can afford an FSM to find out
    where the battery is.

What ever you do, DON'T read the owners manual; it clearly states the
    battery location.

Enjoy the Viper; great car. Ignore the Caravan & Neon owners.
