code 43

    My 87 plymouth reliant has a stall problem code 43 comes up and says
    ignition control circuit and the discrition is out put driver stage for
    ignition coil doesn't respond properly to the dwell control signal. can
    anyone tell me what this means and where to fix it? thanx
