Chrysler's Glory Days

I became aware of an Internet Archive "Way Back Machine" website the
other day. www.web.archive.com In this website, you can search
archived webpages and websites going back to the late 1990s. I mention
this in respect to the prior Car and Truck News website, which was
specifically Chrysler-oriented. Many Chrysler press releases (with
pictures) were in there, plus some great artwork and concept car
pictures you didn't see anywhere else. Plus "Buzz" and "News" articles
on many things Chrysler--before and after "The Merger".

Many of Chrysler's product and sales triumphs of The Golden Era (when
Lutz, Eaton, Stallkamp, Gale, and others were there) when every product
Chrysler introduced was a definite "hit" in the marketplace were
chronicled on that website. When Mercedes came to be part of the
family, there were inclusions of some of their stuff too.

In looking at those archived pages, it's hard to believe it's been so
little time since Chrysler was as great as it was in the 1990s! And,
when things started to surface about some of the things that Daimler was
doing to certain areas of the prior-successful operations, that stuff's
    in there too.

So, if you want to take a stroll down memory lane, put www.car-truck.com
into the "Search" window on that archival website and then click the
various dates listed in the resulting webpage menu. It brought back
many memories for me! Of course, you can look at other websites too.

Back then, I regularly looked at www.car-truck.com and www.allpar.com.
Both websites complimented each other, but served different groups of
    Chrysler enthusiasts.

I mention this ONLY as information you might desire to enjoy rather than
    as a "sales pitch".

    Enjoy!

Please make the ".com" in the web address ".org". Then it'll work.
Click on the "WayBackMachine" icon to get to the search window to input
    www.car-truck.com.

    Sorry for that indiscretion!
