Anyone know how to find out whats wet in the floor? (causes burning in
nose, throat, etc) ..dealer says its water ..this seems caustic.

Water is under the driver's side, not passenger, (what does that
mean?) and driving with AC off still causes burning (eyes, nose,
    mouth, lungs).

  3. Your heater core is leaking antifreeze onto your floormats.

  4. Heater core, then. 90% of the time, it leaks into the driver's
side foot area. The acridness is from these new antifreeze
replacements they use. They're orange colored lately, IIRC.

The acid-test is spray a little water on the area with a
squirt bottle on a fine mist setting. You should see a
slick or glossy film appear(meaning it's NOT just water).

Yes, they have to take the darn dash completely off to replace
    it.

And remove the air conditioner refrigerant, remove the lines from the
H-Valve and recharge when the job is all done. Heater core can not be
removed afik unless the AC is removed first.

I always said that nobody should be allowed to work as a designer unless
they spent at least a year as a service tech having to deal with this !#$%^&
first! Then again, that's how they get you to buy a new car :-(
