broken exterior rear view mirror

    The driver side exterior rear view mirror on my 2000 Dodge Caravan is
    broken and it has leaked some fluid on the door. What kind of solvent
    is needed to remove this dried fluid from the door? I've made several
    attempts to clean it but nothing yet has worked.

    Thanks for any tips.

    Try lighter fluid it will not hurt the paint.
