I'm having wet weather starting problems and suspect the plug
wires, etc. BUT.....how the heck do you get to the 3 rear plugs?
They're under the intake manifold! I've changed the wires and plugs
on my Nissan Pathfinder (which wasn't alot of fun), but the Avenger
looks brutal. Any idea what a shop would charge or time needed to
    replace those wires and plugs?
    Thanks.

Is this 2.5 the same one that was in the Cirrus and Stratus, or was it
    a different one?

It's not that hard to pull the intake plenum (upper manifold). Be sure
to plug the lower intake manifold (on the engine) with paper towels so
nothing falls inside, and use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts. I
changed my plugs in about an hour, and I took my time. Torque the bolts
    as follows:

    Intake plenum: 13 ft lbs
Intake plenum support, passenger side: 13 ft lbs
Intake plenum support, driver side: 26 ft lbs

    Ref: 1998 FSM, 2.5L V6
