are Accuflow fuel pumps decent?

Anyone have any experience with a brand of fuel pumps called Accuflow? I was
told that they are made by Carter, but I have yet to decide what to buy. I'm
replacing the fuel pump, strainer, and filter on an '88 LeBaron. Also, does
Autozone make a decent fuel pump, or should I go with a brand name?

    Thanks.

  2. "Oh, don't worry about the brand name, they're made by <insert major,
reputable name>" is the oldest trick in the book to get you to buy
whatever crapola the parts store has in stock.

You have to ask yourself one question: "If it was made by Carter, why has
Carter decided not to put their name on it?"
You have to ask yourself one more question: "Do I want to do this job
once, or do I want to do it twice?"

  3. Carter was bought by Federal Mogul years ago and is now nothing more than a
brand name of theirs associated with fuel system components. Federal Mogul
    does not
use Accuflow as a brand name or as a model name. See their website:
