A/C Question - 94 Intrepid 3.5

After vehicle startup, the A/C does not start blowing cold air until 5
minutes has elapsed? Then it works great. Any ideas what might be causing
the problem? Thanks.

 

Have an assistant push the A/C switch on, while you observe under the hood.

When the A/C switch is engaged, the clutch on the compressor is suppose to
engage and srat spinning. Also the electric cooling fan is suppose to come on.
One exception is on a cold engine,where on some cars a delay is built.
