96 Chrysler Concorde LXi parking brake rear Ratchets

    96 Chrysler Concorde LXi – Has anybody got a clue what’s wrong with original parking rear brake ratchets ? All parts except the pedal and the rear rachets have been replaced, but two mechanics say the factory ratchets will not work for some reason.

    Apparently this is a problem with some Canadian models, someone told me those rear ratchets are different part numbers in American cars. Does anybody know the American PN that works ?

    O.K, problem (finally) solved. The third mechanic I went to found the cause - the main parking cable from the pedal to two rear cables was jammed.
