I got the AC belt off my 1991 LeBaron 3.0V6. I will study this agin, but it
looks to me that to replace the serpentine belt, I will thread the new belt
around the crank, tensioner, and power steering, then pull the tensioer down
and thread the belt at the alternator pully, correct?

OR, do I thread the balt across all pulleys and try to get it over the
    tensioner last?

The Factory Service Manual does not say much about this.

    Any tips, or advice?

    Thanks for any help.

The key to choosing which pulley to slip the belt onto last is to identify
the pulley that doesn't have a lip or ledge. On my 3.8, it's the idler
pulley, which is smooth because it contacts the back of the serpentine belt.

I generally would slide it onto the tensioner last.

I would also sometimes 'cheat' and use a spring-clamp to keep the belt
in the right place on the crank pulley while preparing to slip it onto
    the tensioner.
