    Is the 7/70 transferable? I have a buyer for my 300M :-(

Also, is the 300C SRT8 going to be made in '07?

    Art,

I never received the paperwork for the warranty. I thought I had it.

It was the 7/70 that was offered and I believe I heard somewhere that it was
    transferable.

Interesting that I had to have two belts replaced and they were not covered
under the plan because they are considered "wearable". Doesn't everything
    wear in a car ;-)

Do you have a service agreement or just the powertrain warranty? Neither
covers maintenance items like belts, hoses, filters, etc. If you bought a
service agreement it is transferable but there is a small fee involved. On
my 94 LHS it was $50. They may have raised it for the 99 300M. If you
didn't buy an extended service agreement than the most you have is a
powertrain warranty that may or may not be transferable. You should have a
book in your glovebox separate from the ower's manual that covers the
warranty. What year is your car? Did you buy it new? I suspect with the
VIN number the service adviser can tell you exactly what you have.

By the way, a warranty that excludes normal wear out items is better than
one that excludes normal wear and tear. That is why 3rd party service
agreements are often a waste of money. They exclude normal wear and tear so
when your auto transmission goes they have it taken apart and then say it
is not covered because it failed from normal wear and tear. But a Chrysler
warranty would cover it because your AT is not a wear out item.

    Art,

I believe it was the standard 7/70 Powertrain warranty. I don't believe I
purchased an extended warranty which would explain why I don't have the
paperwork. I'm a pack-rat when it comes to retaining papers.

    Thanks for the posts.
