You obviously haven't been around this ng very long. You're FOS - how's
    that for substance?

I've been posting here about 5 years. Does it matter?

    You're FOS - how's
Just what I've come to expect from you. Your resorting to insults, pathetic
as they are, says all that needs to be said.

Once again you don't know what you're talking about, Mr.
Substantive-and-Reasonable. I don't do that very often - reserved for
very special occasions. Nevertheless, glad I could live down to your
expectations. I must be doing something right.

ROFL! You're just upset you can't tune in to Dan Rather on CBS for the
real unbiased news. You'll just have to settle for CBS without Dan.

I realize that you are being facetious, but you are correct. I am upset that
I can't get unbiased news, from any source. The days when journalists
reported the facts, without bias, are long gone.

Maybe in the mainstream USA news broadcasters. Can you get BBC World News
from your cable company? Then too you could follow this link

BBC is not free from all bias. Possibly they used to be but the past
few years their bias has shown just the same as most other media.

    When were those unbiased days?
    I didn't notice.

IMO all media have biases, it is necessary to use several sources and
attempt to form your opinion from them all.

The BBC has always been known for it's liberal bias.

You're not confusing that with the CBC which definitely has a (capital L)
    Liberal bias.

I'm like you. Sadly, I never lived through those days, but that doesn't mean
they never were. I have heard, for instance, that towns used to have a
Democrat newspaper and a Republican newspaper. That's why you have all those
hyphenated newspaper names now that each town only has one paper which is
owned by people in New York City.

I think there were some times in history when you had a choice of bias, at
    least.

Why hasn't anyone investigated who fabricated that infamous letter if
    indeed it was a hoax?

After all, wouldn't that be a bigger story than if the letter was
    real?

Now that I think about it, that was probably back when the Republicans were
the liberals and the Democrats were the conservatives.
