Off your meds again, Bill? How did you get all that from my simple statement
    of fact?

Hell with the oil. Hell with Bush's 747. Kennedy flew around in a jet
too... so? If I was President of the United States, I would expect to
have my own jet, not drive around in a Ugo!

And Saddam Hussein is an evil asshole. He killed thousands of his own
people for religious reasons only. He killed people who didn't vote for
him in elections. Think about this, he's an asshole!

I've heard some off-topic threads, but this one doesn't have anything
to do about cars. If you don't like Bush, or the USA, oh well. Take it
to a CNN forum, not an automotive forum. And grow a set of fucking
balls maybe, and show some fucking patriotism for this great country
that you live in, the United States of America. Right now, there are
young men and women dying in Afghanistan and Iraq tonight, so you can
have the freedom to type your stupid bullshit on the internet whenever
    you want.

If you like this country, then shutup and get behind it. Quit posting
negative shit like what started this thread in the first place. If you
really don't like the way the U.S.A. is, then get the **** out of my
country and go someplace that does make you happy.

    More liberal tactics.

How did you get all that from my simple statement of fact?

By reading it and taking it at face value. If that is your observation,
then you don't know much about the subject (either thru willful
ignorance or from listening to very biased filtered sources (just
    another form of willful ignorance).

truly, truly Pyrrhic victory with a nuclear carrier and all hands

Marines, and the nukes themselves) on the ocean floor and truly

Hardly... It's obvious that you read it and then put your own spin on it.
There are lots of conservatives that aren't happy with the situation in
    Iraq, too, and saying so.

    If that is your observation,
Name a news source that shows no bias.

  7. Yup. They were religious and he wasn't.

Now the religious chaps that Saddam kept down are out and about taking
    potshots at American troops...

Where did you get that? Al Quaeda in Iraq is coming apart... not coming
together. Or do you get your news from Al Zarqawhi?

Wow! I couldn't have made my case about liberals and liberal-think any
better than you just did. If you hadn't posted, some might have accused
me of overstating my case (being off my meds or whatever). What do you
    say to that, Hairy?

So, Hairy Dave - you never did address the question - what's the U.N.
going to do to fix the problem? Or is your solution to let it go on
until the U.S. takes action and then bitch about that? What's YOUR
solution!? (This ought to be fun - let's see what the "reasonable
people" have to say. Let me guess - their solution will be to try to
fix it thru "diplomacy" and at the same time wait until Israel is nuked
and then to try to unring the bell. That will be their solution, and
then to blame the U.S. for not doing anything pre-emptively. Right,
    Hairy Dave?)

I didn't know it was a requirement. But since you seem determined to change
the subject, I guess I can play along.

Or is your solution to let it go on
Actually, I don't have a solution. See, I've been having trouble finding
sources of information that are unbiased and totaly trustworthy. Even people
at the top, whom we should be able to trust, have proven to be less than
    dependable in this regard.
You are so lucky....you can tune in to Fox News or Rush Limbaugh and believe
    everything they say, implicitly.

Let me guess - their solution will be to try to
Well, that would be one option. Or, maybe we could start another war based
on questionable information, that we won't be able to extricate ourselves
    from for another thirty years.
But, as I said, I don't have a solution. Worst part of it is, I don't know
who I'd trust to come up with the best solution.
BTW, you didn't say, but I assume I answered your last question adequately.

IMO it was the Israeli lobby that triggered the USA to make the big
    mistake of attacking Iraq.
Saddam was openly supporting the Palestine terrorist bombers, paying
US$25,000 per bomber to their Mother's.
As for the Saddam war with Iran, the USA supported Saddam in that war.
Don't forget the USA was upset with Iran then after the Religious types
took over Iran and kicked the USA out.

The Kuwait war was history, but Saddam was increasingly attacking the
Kurds and the USA and British airplanes which were trying to protect the
Kurds, by establishing a no fly zone over them.
It just happens that about 60% of Iraq's oil is under Kurdish terrority.

Heh heh! But as those crazy liberals will tell you, Sadam had no ties
    to terrorism. :)

"Terrorist" is Saddams middle name. Mostly perpetrated against fellow
muslims. However, it's been long established that Saddam had no ties to
Osama Bin Laden...one of Bush's reasons why we had to rush to war with Iraq.
Bush called him an "evil doer". About the only thing he got right.

12 years of U.N. b.s. is rushing? Odd, and not a very intelligent
statement. Once again - the U.N. was totally ineffective due to main
players(France, Russia) and Kofi Anan's son profiteering.

I guess you didn't catch any of the news conferences where Bush said that we
HAVE to act NOW, no time for the inspectors to finish their jobs.
Oh well, if that's the only thing in my post that you can nit pic, I suppose
    I'm ahead of the game.
