Our van occasionally bucks or hesitates from a stop. This just started
about a month ago. I took it in for service the other day and they
recommended a throttle body cleaning. They said that's most likely the
problem. 60k on the van. Well apparently it wasn't the cause, because when
we picked it up on the way home it did it again. I called service and they
asked about the gas I use. I use and have used BP for years in this van and
all my other vehicles. So I don't think it's the fuel. I told him I'd try
another brand and see if the problem is still there. If so, I'll bring it
    back in.

Does anyone have an idea what might cause this ? No codes or check engine
light and it's an intermittent problem. Platinum plugs. Runs great and
good fuel mileage, just the occasional bucking/hesitation. More like bucking
    to me.

    thanks

I would start with replacing the plugs and ignition wires. My 1999 with
platinum (100K mile) plugs lasted just under 50K before they needed
replacing. Once done everything was smooth again. If you are spending the
effort to replace either plugs or wires (two of the back ones are pretty
tight), then do them both at the same time.
