2001 Caravan airbag light acting up

thank you very much for info.my question now is I removed everthing and air
bag is not bolted to steering wheel is it safe to unplug bag?thank you

Are you talking about near the passenger air bag where there are laser cuts
for deployment? Some people have mentioned that problem. After warranty I
don't think they have had luck getting chrysler to pay for replacemnet.
