Due to a couple outstanding issues, I didn't have any time to shop around on
transmission rebuild costs. What should I have expected to pay to get my
tranny replaced with old parts/new parts? I've done some googling and found
prices ranging from $850 to $1950, so I'm not sure at all.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Is it automatic or manual?

If it's automatic, and the ball bearing tracks are messed up, you can get a
new ball bearing track with new bearings and gaskets for $30-$0 at AutoZone.

Automatic, like it says in the subject, but I'm thinking you might be
talking about something different. I'm pretty sure even a rebuilt
    transmission doesn't cost only $30.
